Eun Nim Ro was born in South Korea and moved to Germany in 1970 to study fine art at the HFBK(Hochschule für bildende Künste) Hamburg under Hans Thielmann and Kai Sudek. Ro who was appointed to a professorship at the Fachhochschule Hamburg from 1990 to 2010, has been living and working in Germany for decades. She has had numerous acclaimed exhibitions worldwide and her works have been displayed in public spaces and collected by both museums and private collections in Europe, Asia and America.
